Apprenticeship The Local 29 Sheet Metal Apprenticeship combines PAID on-the-job training with classroom training to develop a highly-skilled and well-rounded journeyman-level sheet metal worker. As an apprentice, you will work for one of our signatory contractors for the normal workday and then go to class at our apprenticeship training center in the evening. What Will You Learn
Tuition Apprentices have a once per year fee of $335.00, which each apprentice has the opportunity to earn that back at the end of the school year. How To Apply To apply for the Local 29 Sheetmetal Workers’ Apprenticeship, you need to contact the Wichita Workforce Center and tell them you would like to apply for the Local 29 Sheetmetal Workers’ Apprenticeship Program.
